Terry Robb rolls into the Breadline Cafe with a background that includes touring with Ramblin Rex of Capt. Beefheart/Zappa fame, producing and playing with acoustic legend John Fahey, and touring with Buddy Guy and Steve Miller.

Terry began his illustrious career in the Pacific Northwest as a hot shot guitar player who could play any style of music and excel at them all. As a child he was inspired to play the guitar by an uncle who was a professional swing guitarist. Soon Terry immersed himself in the music of blues, ragtime, folk, jazz and country guitarists.

Developing an original eclectic style with a strong knowledge of the traditional, he began performing professionally at an early age and soon found himself playing and sharing the stage with many top blues artists.

Before long he was producing records and performing with one of his mentors, John Fahey, including the 1993 hit "Let Go." Rolling Stone proclaimed the album one of the "Top 3 releases of the year."

A CD collaboration on "Hit It And Quit It," with Curtis Salgado, received high accolades and launched a successful national tour with rock legend Steve Miller. The tour culminated with an appearance on The Conan O'Brien Show.

Other ventures include a song on the movie soundtrack to "The Horse Whisperer" and performing with the Acoustic Guitar Summit, along with other notable guitar contemporaries such as Paul Chasman, Doug Smith and Mark Hansen.

The Acoustic Guitar Summit has released two recordings and performed several times on the radio show "West Coast Live."

Now considered one of the top acoustic blues guitarists in the country, Terry contributes his knowledge and talent to workshops and clinics such as the Port Townsend Country Blues Festival.

Recently, Terry has ventured out on his own and opened the Terry Robb Northwest School of Acoustic Guitar. The school offers courses, workshops and labs for intermediate and advanced guitar students.

Terry's acoustic playing is a longtime favorite of blues, folk and ragtime fans in the Northwest. The Cascade Blues Association has awarded him the prestigious "Muddy Award" 14 times and has made him a two time "Hall of Fame" member.

The concert is sponsored by Okanogan R&B Society.
