Formed in 1994, Campbell Road plays original arrangements of traditional Irish and Scottish tunes and songs. Campbell Road also performs tunes from other traditions (everything from Cape Breton to Scandinavian to klezmer) as well as some original compositions.
Band members include Jessamyn Tuttle on flute, whistle, bodhran (Irish drum), djembe, claves, and vocals; Jon Nauert on fiddle, bouzouki, djembe, and vocals; Dan Tuttle on guitar, banjo, fiddle, and vocals; and Barbara Tuttle on bodhran, djembe, and other percussion instruments.
Campbell Road has recorded two CDs - By Blood or Marriage, released in 1997, and Bare Bones, released in 2002. Both CDs feature cover art by Dan Tuttle.
The group has appeared at Northwest Folklife Festival, Yakima Folklife Festival, Spokane Fall Folk Festival, Tumbleweed Music Festival, and Leavenworth Acoustic Music Festival.
Campbell Road, which hails from Peshastin and Mount Vernon, has also appeared at Skagit Valley Highland Games and Whidbey Island Highland Games.
