Li'l Hummer Band will kickoff the holidays by rocking the Breadline for a terrific night of dancing and partying.
The band includes Ronnie Sawyer, Rob "Downtown" Brown, Teresa Sawyer and Ron Lahr.
Ronnie Sawyer is guitar, bass and vocalist for the Li'l Hummer Band, which has performed in the music industry since 1969. Special performances include The Met Theater in Spokane, Sun Banks and Kettle River Blues Festivals, performance with John Tristao of Creedence Clearwater revival (CCR), and opening act for Nashville recording artist Chely Wright.
Lead guitarist for The Li'l Hummer Band, Rob "Downtown" Brown of Kennewick has been performing since 1972. He comes from a musical family and is the nephew of Ray Brown of "The Four Freshmen". From Blue grass to Rock-N-Roll, Rob's versatile playing styles will make you want to dance the night away.
Teresa Sawyer of Omak has been performing since she was nine years old. Vocal competition highlights include 1992, 1999, 2002 Country Music Showdown State Finalist. In 1998 Teresa performed at the HOSTS education convention in Austin, Texas, just prior to guest speaker, then governor, now president George W. Bush. Opening act performances include Tim Rushlow of "Little Texas" and Nashville recording artist Chely Wright.
Ron Lahr, recently relocating in Omak, brings a unique musical background to the Li'l Hummer Band. Highlights from his musical career in California, Nevada and Alaska include opening act performances for the Gregg Allman Band, the Fixx and Ozzy Osbourne. With over 30 years drumming experience, Ron adds the "drive" to the Li'l Hummer Band!
The band last played at the Breadline in April as the host band for Night of the Living Blues benefit for the Kettle Falls Blues Festival.
