Tim "Too Slim" Langford, Dave "Groove Master" Nordstrom and John "Midnight" Cage are the masterminds behind Too Slim & The Taildraggers. With their hip-shakin', toe-tappin' style of the blues, roots-rock, rockabilly & surf and that trademark "Western Man" influence, they have been one of the Northwest's most sought after Blues-Rock bands for 17 years.
The three-piece band hails from Spokane, Washington where their devoted regional fan base has grown over the years into a national following. They've recorded eight albums and average 250 gigs a year.
The band's live sets are legendary, featuring the blazing guitar solos and astute slide work of Tim "Too Slim" Langford. His raw, high energy, yet smooth fretwork has often been compared to the late Lightnin' Hopkins, George Thorogood and Johnny Winter.
The trio is rounded out by the rhythm section of "skin-pounding","arms-a-flailing" John "Midnight" Cage and "Rock Solid", "Groove-master" Dave Nordstrom.
The band has played with Travis Tritt, Johnny Lang, Brian Seitzer, .38 Special, Ted Nugent, Robert Cray, Otis Rush, Bo Diddley, Jimmy Thackery and the Drivers, Jeff Healey, Roy Rogers, Lonnie Mack, Junior Brown, The Beat Farmers, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Little Charlie and the Nightcats, Little Ed & the Blues Imperials, Neil McCoy, Los Lobos, Delbert McClinton and Georgia Satellites.
Playing to packed clubs from the Canadian border to the Rio Grande; in Portland and to the "sweet sound" town of Nashville, they always leave the crowd begging for more. Since their humble beginnings in the late 80's, Too Slim & The Taildraggers are most certainly a blues band legend in the making.
Once you catch their high-speed, twangin' performance, you'll be convinced and converted! These boys are guaranteed to raise the roof at any big barn boogie, hoedown, nightclub, concerts and festivals across the U.S.A. and beyond.
