The Working Spliffs bring their rockin' reggae sound to Omak while playing a variety of classics and originals. It's a great recipe for dancing.
The band describes their sound as skanking, crooked beat style with a dash of blues thrown in. And also don't forget their Jerry duty.
All four of the members are veteran players in the music scene, and half the band holds day jobs in public radio in Spokane.
The band includes Brian Flick on trombone and bass, Steve Jackson with vocals and guitar, Laurie Jackson wit bass, vocals and keyboard, and Flor Sanchez on drums.
The band has been playing in the Inland Northwest for the last three years, and has become an attraction at a number of area venues.
